Un recuerdo por el pasado, un canto a Escocia tierra de mis ancestros.

Aunque geográficamente estén en la misma isla, los escoceses no tienen nada que ver con los ingleses. No los confunda!

Los escoceses tienen una identidad muy dura, y están muy sensibilizados con ella.

Son gente muy abierta, animados, amigables, divertidos y muy leales a su pais.   El paisaje de Escocia es salvaje, romántico y muy hermoso.  Destacar que Escocia destila los mejores whiskies del mundo.

Lejos, en lugares soleados

tristes están las caras de los escoceses,

anhelando sentir el beso de la dulce lluvia escocesa.

Donde los trópicos están llenos de luz

el amor hace soñar al corazón.

deseando y soñando volver de nuevo a la tierra natal.

Far off in sunlit places

sad are the scottish faces,

Yearning to feel the kiss

off sweet scottish rain.

Where the tropics are beaming

love sets the heart a dreaming.

Longing and dreaming for the hameland again.
